To collaborate with group members to build a study tool that can be shared with other learners and used as a review for the upcoming exam

Directions

Build a collaborative document with your group mates that captures the key concepts, terms and applications from the course content. You can make this using Google Docs or a OneDrive document. The Study Guide should be about 2-3 pages long and should include these sections:

Chapter/PowerPoint Outline
- Be sure to clearly indicate the book, chapter, headings, subheadings and other pertinent info
Key Terms & Definitions
- Choose a few key terms and define them using your own words (and provide examples/images, if possible)
Case(s)

Be sure to include title, brief factual summary, and legal principle that controls the case

Questions
- Study questions: anticipate questions from this module that you think might be on the exam (3-5 questions)
- Do not provide the answers in your Study Guide
Summary of Notes
- Highlight the key takeaways

Choose someone to be responsible for uploading/providing the link to your group's Study Guide before the deadline. In order to assure you meet the deadline, your group might consider setting an internal, soft deadline.

As a group, you can decide how you would like to complete this activity. Some groups may decide to assign a section to a different person. Other groups may prefer all group members to contribute to all sections. However you decide to organize the activity, aim to have everyone contribute something.

Your Study Guide will count toward your participation points.

(FYI: Modules 1 and 8 will be covered on the Midterm, but I am not including those Modules on the Study Guide)

Due dates

Post your team's Study Guide in MIDTERM: Exam Preparation discussion board (Due Friday, March 6, 2020, by 11:59 PM)
Your team will be paired with another team. Read through your assigned partner's questions and provide short answers. (Due Tuesday, March 10, 2020, by 11:59 PM)
Read through the answers your partnering team provides in response to your questions and provide appropriate feedback. (Due Wednesday, March 11, 2020, by 7:00 PM)

Be sure to communicate with your team members to decide roles and responsibilities. For example:

Student A posts the (1) Study Guide and (2) Study Questions
Student B answers assigned partner’s questions
Student C checks the answers from their assigned partners and provides correction and/or feedback

Academic integrity

Collaborating, or completing the assignment with others, is encouraged.
Open-book research for the assignment is permitted and encouraged.
