This is an example of an online Student Presentation assignment using the discussion board. 

Student Presentation Discussion

This assignment is worth 100 points.

  • 75 points for the Final Presentation
  • 25 points for contributions to the discussion

There are two parts to this Assignment/Discussion (see below).

Part I - Upload your presentation and summarize it

  1. Post your presentation either as a link or embedded in the discussion. 
  2. Post a short introductory paragraph that includes:
    • An overview statement of the focus of your presentation
    • A summary statement that lists the two most important conclusions of your presentation


Part II - Review other student presentations and post your comments

  1. Post a review of at least two of your peers' presentations. 
  2. In your review, please include your answers to each of the following questions (in full sentences):
    • Do you agree with the conclusions in the presentation? Provide at least two specific examples of how these are similar or different from the information you presented.
    • Of the topics we studied in the course, which one do you think applies most to the presentation? Provide at least 2 specific examples and provide citations from the course materials to support your view.
