Embedded Narrated PowerPoint Example
EMBEDDED NARRATED POWERPOINT
An embedded narrated PowerPoint can be placed on a Canvas page, such as this one. The audio portion of the PowerPoint is recorded on a slide-by-slide basis making the recording process much easier (you do not have to record it all in one shot). The PowerPoint is then saved to a non-OU OneDrive account and then embedded on a page in Canvas.
Embedded Narrated PowerPoint Example
Carrying Capacity Presentation
This mini-lecture is created using an embedded narrated PowerPoint. It is interactive and engaging and easy to update.
Students click through the presentation listening to the narration. Each slide displays a meaningful image (or images) and minimal text.
View the presentation about Carrying Capacity below (please note it may take a moment to load).
To begin the presentation click the play button (if the play button doesn't appear automatically click the three dots to access it). Once you have listened to the first slide click through the remaining slides. Each slide contains text and/or images as well as audio. The audio may take a moment to load so do not click forward until you have listened to all of the audio and it is complete.
Click here to view a video version of the PowerPoint.
Thank you to Dr. Rhonda Dean-Kyncl for the use of her mini-lecture in this example.
