Instructions
You have 90 minutes to complete the exam. You may use your book, course handouts, notes on the lecture material, old homework assignments, and MATLAB in completing the exam.
The exam is composed of 8 multiple choice questions. You will receive full credit for a correct answer. Partial credit is available for incorrect answers, so submit your work. To help with partial credit, make sure that your work is organized, legible, and clearly indicates your methods. If you use MATLAB for a problem, be sure to include a copy of your script.
A pdf of the entire exam is available once you access the quiz, if you would like to have that open during the exam. Also, feel free to print the exam and perform your hand calculations directly on the printout, which may help with organization.
Note that you have 90 minutes to complete the exam, but it is written for a 75 minute class period. The additional 15 minutes is to make sure you have time to scan and upload your work. If you do not have a good scanner, a number of good apps for scanning are available for both iOS and Android. CamScanner is a good app that is available on both systems. If you have trouble scanning and do not get your files uploaded in time, please send me an email so that I know what happened.
