    Decide What Stories Will Go In Your Newsletter.

    As mentioned in the introduction, you should base your content and graphic design decisions on the target public, purpose and key messages to produce an effective, as well as good-looking, newsletter. One key ingredient to know before you start to embed your stories into your newsletter is how much space you have. Make sure your columns are linked together (even if they jump to a new page). If you aren’t sure on how to do that, I’ve created a video to show you how I do that:

    As I mentioned in the previous unit, you are not required to write to your articles (though you can if you wish). I recommend you find press releases in the companies press section. As an example, here is Starbucks' press section. To complete this assignment I would like you to send me the links to the articles you pull from the companies websites. If you are electing to write your own articles, please submit that to complete the assignment.
