First Draft: Direct Mailer #1
- Due Oct 13, 2016 by 11:59pm
- Points 2
- Submitting a file upload
- File Types jpg and jpeg
Below you will find a screenshot of the dialogue box for a new Photoshop document.
Remember: One difference between Photoshop and InDesign is that Photoshop creates a single image whereas InDesign allows you to create document packages. Because of this, you will want to do this process TWICE so that you have one document that is the front and one that is the back.
You’ll also want to save two files types: a PSD and a JPG. A native PSD file allows you to manipulate the photo afterwards and the JPG will flatten the image for print. For more information on Photoshop file formats, click the button below which takes you to the Wiki article.
Once you've finished the first draft of your first direct mailer (we'll be doing #2 in the next unit!), submit a JPG for review.
