Instructions

Use the Murray's Auto Parts Store project to complete the assignment. Prepare a cost estimate (bare cost) for the interior Slab on Grade (SOG 1). Include the following in your estimate:

  • Concrete
  • Formwork
  • Reinforcing

Please use the MS Excel Estimating Template.xlsx for completing the estimate. Use the MS Excel QTO Template.xlsx for completing the quantity takeoff. Attach supporting document for QTO. Pricing should be done based on RS Means 2020 database.  

Notes:

  1. Perform the estimate based on national average price and then adjust to the location of the project
  2. Include appropriate wastage to the calculated quantity
  3. Do not include any O&P
