Chapter 3 Technical Quiz_Spring 2021

Read all of the instructions carefully before taking this exam. 

Objective

This exam is over chapter 3 and will require flowcharting and DFD skills.

Instructions

• This test is time sensitive; i.e., once you start you will have 75 minutes (unless DRC time differs) to complete the test before the system ends the exam automatically
• This test has two format:
  • Multiple Choice: select the answer that is most correct for each of the questions. 
  • Short Answers:  prepare a narrative for the given Flowchart and DFD.
• If you purposefully or inadvertently close the exam window, you may re-enter by clicking the "Resume Quiz" button. Your answers will automatically be saved, but note that the timer will continue to countdown to zero and automatically submit your exam when the provided time runs out.
• You will only have one attempt for this exam (i.e. there will not be an opportunity to re-take it and improve your score).  
• The exam should be submitted before the end of class.

Academic integrity

• Collaborating, or completing the exam with others, is not permitted.
• Open-book research is not permitted.
• You are allowed to use both sides of a 8.5 x 11 sheet of notes as a reference during the exam. However, if notes are handwritten you can turn the notes to the instructor or scan and upload the sheet (both sides).  If you your notes are in electronic form, please upload them. Uploading your notes will be your first task during the test.
