Overview

Through observation, Kevin Lynch, a famous city planner, identified the elements that make a city legible. Whether or not a city is legible affects behavior. In thinking of the OU campus, try to identify Lynch's elements and reflect on how these elements affects your experience of campus. For example, is there a famous landmark that you refer to often when giving directions?

Prospect refuge is a very easy to understand concept that pairs nicely with Jacobs' eyes on the street.
