𝜆 = wavelength in meters

𝜐 = frequency in Hertz

c = 3 x 108 m/sec (Speed of Light)

E = energy of a quantum (Joules (J))

h = Planck’s constant: 6.626 X 10 -34 J ·sec

 

Stefan-Boltzmann Law: M = σ T 4

M = Total energy emitted (watts/ m2)

σ = S-B constant, 5.67 x 10-8  W m-2 K-4

T = Absolute temperature in K

 

Wien's Displacement Law: λm = A/T

λm = Wavelength of max radiation (m)

A = Constant, 2.9x10-3 m·K

T = Temperature (K)
