Instructions
You have 120 minutes to complete the exam. You may use your NDS, NDS Supplement, ASD/LRFD Manual for Engineered Wood Construction, textbook, any notes that you have written in the codes, and your notes on the lecture/background materials.
The exam will be administered through Canvas as a timed quiz you can take at any point between 12:00 am Monday June 20, and 11:59 pm on Sunday June 26. You will have 2 hours to complete the exam, but it is written for a 1.25 hour class period. The additional 45 minutes is for potential interruptions and for you to scan your answers. If you work the problems on your own paper you do not need to rewrite any of the question. If you do not have a good scanner, a number of good apps for scanning are available for both iOS and Android. CamScanner is a good app that is available on both systems. If you have trouble scanning and do not get your files uploaded in time, please send me an email so that I know what happened.
I have included a pdf of the entire exam if you would like to have that open during the exam. You can upload a file with all of your answers together to the file upload question if you prefer to do so.
