Wikipedia Women in Science Assignment

You second research assignment for HSCI 3023 will be to write a Wikipedia article on a woman scientist. The Wikiprojects Women in Science Links to an external site. page lists women scientists in need of Wikipedia Links to an external site. entries, as well as resources for writing these articles. You can choose a woman scientist (or physician, or engineer) not on this list, but this person can’t have an existing article. (It’s alright if the person has a “stub,” but not a full article.)  The Biographical Dictionary of Women in Science (2000) edited by Marilyn B. Ogilvie and Joy D. Harvey is a useful print resource. It’s in the History of Science Collections in Bizzell Library.
