Instructions
Download the PDF of the Midterm Exam, solve the problems and provide your answers on separate sheets of paper, and then scan and upload your solutions. This work is to be your personal, individual effort. Be sure to show all your work, and use as many sheets of paper as you need.
You are permitted to use only the following:
- AISC Manual of Steel Construction, 14th or 15th Edition
- Class textbook
- Personal notes based on readings, class lectures, etc.
- Homework assignments
No additional aids are allowed.
The exam must be taken during the scheduled exam window. You have 3 hours once you begin to download the exam, work your solutions, and scan and upload your answers.
Only click the "Take the quiz" button once you are ready to take the exam. You will only have one attempt for this exam (i.e., there will not be an opportunity to re-take it and improve your score). Be sure to check that you have attached your work before submitting the exam.
If you purposefully or inadvertently close the window, you may re-enter the exam by clicking the "Resume Quiz" button. Note that the timer will continue to countdown to zero and automatically submit your exam when the provided time runs out.
