  • Even though LCA is a standardized method, current LCA practices differ widely in methodological choices. Applying LCA to Carbon Capture and Utilization technologies leads to further methodological issues, due to the double role of CO₂ as emission and feedstock. This guideline should improve the comparability of LCA studies and overall transparency through interpretation and reporting guidance.
