EXAM: Mid-Course

About This Exam

In the course so far, we have covered:

• a basic introduction to neurology
• drug metabolism
• the role of the mental health provider when psychotropic medications are involved in the therapeutic treatment plan

Exam Specifics

• Course content tested: topics presented in class and the readings you have been assigned in the course resources thus far - see the Mid-Course Exam Study Guide for more information
• Exam format: multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, multiple answers, and matching (240 points total)
• Time limit: Unlimited
• Number of attempts: 1

Expectations

Read the following points and ask any questions about the exam format before accessing the exam.

• The exam accounts for 30% of the total course grade.
• The exam has to be completed in a single setting. It will not be possible to complete a portion of the exam, log out, and return later. Once you start the exam, you must finish it.
• Access to the exam will be automatically locked at the posted time on the due date (Central Standard Time). If you have not submitted responses by the posted date/time, you will no longer have access to the exam, and unanswered questions will be scored as incorrect.

Note: Accessing the exam will be interpreted as the indicator that you have read and understood the information presented above.

• Understand ethical standards of professional organizations and credentialing bodies, and applications of ethical and legal considerations in professional counseling. [CACREP Section II.G.1.j.]
