Instructions
You have 120 minutes to complete the exam. You may use your NDS, NDS Supplement, ASD/LRFD Manual for Engineered Wood Construction, textbook, any notes that you have written in the codes, and your notes on the lecture/background materials.
The exam will be administered through Canvas as a timed quiz you can take at any point between 12:00 am Monday June 19, and 11:59 pm on Sunday June 25. You will have 2 hours to complete the exam, but it is written for a 1.25 hour class period. The additional 45 minutes is for potential interruptions and for you to scan your answers. You may also use a tablet. If you work the problems on your own paper or a tablet you do not need to rewrite any of the question. If you do not have a good scanner, a number of good apps for scanning are available for both iOS and Android. CamScanner is a good app that is available on both systems. If you have trouble scanning and do not get your files uploaded in time, please send me an email so that I know what happened.
I have included a pdf of the entire exam if you would like to have that open during the exam. You can upload a file with all of your answers together to the file upload question if you prefer to do so.
