About The Final
- Content Tested: The final exam will be comprehensive and selectively choose topics from within chapters MS 1-7 plus all other topics covered in the modules of this course. Types of variables, plots, and other summaries, outliers via boxplots and Z transformations as well as probability functions and densities along with methods of point and interval estimation including Bivariate distributions for example.
- Exam Format: You will complete the questions and upload your answer file. Review "Directions" section below for details.
- Time limit: 120 minutes.

Objectives
You must be able to use the following theory and procedures:
- Chebyshev and empirical theorems
- Z transformations
- Table calculations
- boxplots
- histograms
- The Moment Generating function theorem and its application
- Use of dpqr stem R functions
- Use of densities and their properties
- Products, sums, and the ratio of random variables
- Bayes rule
- w-F simulation
- Properties of point estimators
- Pivotal method of creating and proving interval estimators
Directions
Use an RMD document and place all R code in chunks and any extended proof please write on paper and place in RMD with ![](){} using a picture. Knit to HTML and upload this document (the HTML) on CANVAS.
Assessment
A 100-point rubric will be used to assign points (100) to your exam. There will be 10 questions covering various topics covered in MS ch 1-7 plus other topics such as "order statistics". You will be given 120 minutes to complete the exam. There will also be given 15 minutes allotted to upload the final HTML file to CANVAS.

- Closed book -- you must not use any other resources than R studio and the CANVAS page holding the exam
- All work should be your's only
- No conversing with other students during the exam.
