Notifications & Settings: Acknowledgment of Process & Responsibility

All students are free to personalize notifications as best suits their needs, but it is important to understand that Instructor will be using Announcements to inform students of class cancellations, changes to assignments, and other important information. Students are responsible for timely accessing the content of Announcements and Canvas messages, whether or not they elect to have these items forwarded to an email account.

Do not use submission comments at all, especially to communicate with the Instructor or TA. For questions regarding grading, assignment submissions, etc., communicate directly with the Instructor via email. Do not contact the TA directly.

The most efficient and effective way to communicate with the Instructor is for students to use regular email. The Instructor may also send Canvas messages to students individually or to the class as a whole.
