Databases
Objectives: You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to use research databases in order to find relevant sources of information. You should be able to explain how information is used for scholarly research. You should also be able to explain what a scholarly peer-reviewed journal article is.
Assignments and tasks
- Complete the LIT: Research 101 and LIT: Find Sources tutorials and quizzes.
- Do searches in OneSearch and specific databases like EBSCO, Google Scholar, and other specialized databases that might be useful for your topic.
- Have 2 scholarly article citations and annotations in your bibliography.
- Post to the class discussion for the week.
