Questions for Guest Speaker

Introduction:

Next week we will have a guest speaker - Morgan Ulrich.

Assignment:

This week, please share questions that you would like to have our guest speaker address. Read her overview and bio below, then use the "quiz" to share questions that you would like for her to address.

Overview from guest speaker:

Mainstream project management tools like Microsoft Project are often expensive and have a steep learning curve. Morgan will introduce simple and easy to navigate basic versions of program management software tools. These different tools explored are those that can be immediately implemented with your teams.

Guest Speaker Bio:

Morgan Ulrich

University of Colorado Boulder | College of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering | Engineering Project Manager

After graduating from CU Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Morgan started working in machine design for Stolle Machinery, a canmaking equipment company. There, she was an engineer for three years before transitioning into an engineering project management role. She returned to CU Boulder in 2021 to work with civil engineering research groups as an engineering project manager for projects funded by ARPA-E and DARPA. Morgan is also enrolled in graduate engineering management courses at CU Boulder.
