About this Assignment
Homework assignments are designed to assess how well you are able to analyze what you have learned from the chapter (and other assigned learning materials) and apply it to a given set of facts. Further, homework enables you (and me) to spot any points that are not yet fully understood. You are encouraged to seriously attempt each of the homework problems. If you get stuck on a problem, make a note (on the homework) of the specific difficulty you are having and move on.
Directions
- In this homework assignment, you will be answering open-ended questions with a written response.
- Just type your response in the text field.
- Then, submit.
- We will discuss the answers during the Live Session.
Number of attempts: One attempt to submit; however, you do not have to complete the homework all at once. You may leave the homework at any time without hitting submit (any answers entered will be saved) and return to finish it when you are ready.
Further, as set out in the syllabus, if you attend the Live Session in which we discuss the Homework, I will allow you to correct any mistakes in your original submission during the Live Session. You will do so via a "second attempt", which I will enable prior to the Live Session. You must have a first attempt turned in by 7pm in order to take advantage of the "second attempt" during the Live Session. If you cannot attend the Live Session, don't worry! The grading on the Homework assignments is very liberal.
Assessment
Homework will be graded 100%, 75%, or 0%. A 100% will be given to students who complete 70% of the assignment correctly. If you made a good attempt, 75% will be given. A zero will be given if an assignment is not turned in on time.
