Folklore Thursday

Twitter is no longer supporting hashtag widgets, but you can use Martin Hawksey's TAGS Links to an external site. (Twitter Archiving Google Sheets) which now has widgets Links to an external site.; see my Canvas Community blog post Links to an external site. for details. So, TAGS is powering the #FolkloreThursday widget below. It does not update in real time, but it should be updating every hour. And there is a searchable archive Links to an external site. too, which makes it even more powerful and useful. I'll need to clear out the space each week before the event because of how active the hashtag is, but I'll archive those old sheets for future reference too; you can see the whole spreadsheet system Links to an external site. here if you want. In configuring the widget, I chose not to include retweets, but as you'll see in Martin's form Links to an external site., you can include retweets (or not), include media (or not), and so on. If you want to configure a widget of your own, here is our TAGS code:
