Instructions
You have 180 minutes to complete the exam. You may use your NDS, NDS Supplement, ASD/LRFD Manual for Engineered Wood Construction, Special Design Provisions for Wind and Seismic, any notes that you have written in the codes, and your notes on the lecture/background materials.
The exam is written for a 2 hour class period. The additional 1 hour is to account for potential distractions and for you to scan your solution. The short answer questions are included as individual questions in the Quiz or you can write out your answers and submit with the solution to the calculation questions. If you do not have a good scanner, a number of good apps for scanning are available for both iOS and Android. CamScanner is a good app that is available on both systems. If you have trouble scanning and do not get your files uploaded in time, please send me an email so that I know what happened.
