ASSIGNMENT 2: Case Briefs from Chapters 2, 5 (Week 2)

Directions

This week, you will read four cases, which we will discuss during our Live Session.

Chapter 2: The Resolution of Private Disputes

• Hertz (p 44) (15^th – 17^th ed.)
• AT&T (p 59) (15^th – 17^th ed.)

Chapter 5: Criminal Law and Procedure

• Sekhar (p 154) (16^th – 17^th ed.)
• Anderson (p 183) (16^th – 17^th ed.)

Your assignment is to submit a 200-300 word 'case brief' for one of the cases. During our Live Session, you will be asked to lead or actively engage in the discussion on your case. You must complete and upload your brief by noon on Thursday.

Case Briefs Assignments

Briefs are assigned alphabetically by your surname. Each student must submit 1 case brief. The assigned cases for each student appear on your syllabus.
