LIVE SESSION 4: Midterm Exam (Proctoring)

Live Session

Every Thursday from 7:00-9:00 pm (Central Time Zone) 

You will take the Midterm exam during the Live Session. It will be available on Canvas from 7:00 - 8:30 pm on Thursday, September 13, and will cover material from Chapters 1-2 and 5-7. You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam.

You must be visible on ZOOM while taking the exam. The midterm is a CLOSED-BOOK exam. You must put all course materials and learning aids away before taking the exams. You may not get any help while taking the exam. Please note, as the instructor (host) I can see all participant activity and texts. If you have any questions, ask me. I will be on Zoom and you can send me a private message.

Attendance

1. LOG ATTENDANCE ON CANVAS

Before joining the Live Session you will need to log your attendance on Canvas by clicking on the red "Submit Assignment" button at the top of this page. Type in the date and time as you would normally do for the Live Session.

2. JOIN LIVE SESSION ON ZOOM

Open the Live Session in a new tab or window so that Zoom and Canvas are open at the same time. Make sure your webcam is working and that your work area is cleared of books and notes.

3. START THE MIDTERM EXAM IN CANVAS

The Midterm exam will be available at 7:00 pm. Do not try to access the exam before 7:00 pm; it will be locked. You have 90 minutes to complete the exam. Once you've completed the exam, submit it on Canvas and then leave the Live Session. Remember, submit the exam on Canvas, and then leave Zoom.
