You will download a PDF of the Midterm Exam, answer on a separate sheet of paper, scan and upload your answers. This work is to be your personal, individual effort. Be sure to show all your work, and use as many sheets of paper as you need. You must agree to the academic integrity pledge before taking this exam.
You are permitted to use only the following:
- (6) 8.5” x 11” crib sheets, unruled, one sided, hand written
- AISC Manual of Steel Construction, 14th or 15th Edition
- Applicable Errata’s for Design Manual
- Torsional properties of welds
No additional aids are allowed.

Time Limit
The exam must be taken during the scheduled exam window. You have 3 hours to take the exam.
Only click the "Take the quiz" button once you are ready to take the exam. You will only have one attempt for this exam (i.e. there will not be an opportunity to re-take it and improve your score). Be sure to check that you have attached your work before submitting the exam.
If you purposefully or inadvertently close the window, you may re-enter the exam by clicking the "Resume Quiz" button. Note that the timer will continue to countdown to zero and automatically submit your exam when the provided time runs out.
