Instructions
You have 130 minutes to complete the exam. You may use your book, course handouts, notes on the lecture material, old homework assignments, and MATLAB in completing the exam.
The exam is composed of 5 free-response questions. Partial credit is available for incorrect answers, so show your work. To help with partial credit, make sure that your work is organized, legible, and clearly indicates your methods. If you use MATLAB for a problem, be sure to include a copy of your script.
A pdf of the entire exam is available once you access the quiz. You'll perform your hand calculations on your own engineering paper.
Note that you have 130 minutes to complete the exam, but it is written for a 120 minute class period. The additional 10 minutes is to make sure you have time to scan and upload your work. If you do not have a good scanner, a number of good apps for scanning are available for both iOS and Android. CamScanner is a good app that is available on both systems. If you have trouble scanning and do not get your files uploaded in time, please send me an email so that I know what happened.
