Set up your research bibliography document

Your research bibliography will be the main assignment for this course. The assignment is actually composed of many smaller assignments that take place over the entire quarter. It is designed such that you will be doing research, on a topic of your choosing, with in depth notes from a variety of types of sources. It is very important that you keep up to date with adding to your bibliography on a weekly basis. If you do not, it will impact your participation score.

Setup, step-by-step:

  1. Start by downloading this Word file Links to an external site. as a template for your own document to be shared with me.
  2. Open the file and click on the "File" tab. Change the document title to LIBR 201 Winter 2015 YourLastName. So, for example, my document would be titled LIBR 201 Winter 2015 Gossett LIBR_201_change_doc_title.png border=1
  3. Save the file and share it with my email address: gabe.gossett@wwu.edu. There are two ways to do this. If you have Office 365 set up on your personal computer you can share it directly from Word by clicking "Share" then adding my email (it looks like this Links to an external site.). If you have not yet configured 365 on your computer you can upload it to your personal Office 365 account through WWU (directions on how to upload files is here Links to an external site.)
  4. I will confirm with you once I have access to your bibliography.
