Widget: Aesop's Fables

The sources for the Aesop's Fable widget are housed at my Aesop's Books blog Links to an external site.. This is a project for Summer 2017, and I am continuing to add new books and new illustrations. For each fable you see in the widget, there is a "more info" link that will take you to the online book that is the source.

That blog is where you will find the javascripts and iframe Links to an external site. so that you can make use of this widget yourself either in your own blog or in your Canvas course.

The widget features very short Aesop's fables that are in the public domain and available online. As I add new fables to the collection, this widget displays the 100 shortest fables (prose only). There is also a widget for Aesop illustrations only (no text), and it contains over 1000 images as of June 19.
