FIN 5362 Final Exam

Instructions:

You have five hours to complete this exam.

The first 25 questions are multiple choice and are worth two points each. You do not have to show any work for these questions and there will be no partial credit. Choose the best answer for each question. There is only one correct answer for each question.

Following the multiple choice questions, there are three problems. For each problem, you must upload a file with your solution(s). Your final answer(s) should be easy for me to identify. You must show your work on these problems just as you did for your assignments in this course. Each problem is worth 15 points and partial credit will be given where applicable.

You will earn an additional five points on this exam if you completely follow all the directions (partial credit is available for this too).

All coupon-paying bonds make their coupon payments semi-annually (except in the callable bond problem). All interest rates are annual (APR or BEY) unless the problem states otherwise. Answer all monetary problems to the nearest cent (using dollars and cents). Answer all percentage problems to the nearest basis point. While working on a problem, use cell-referencing to capture as many decimals as possible. Answer all percentage problems as the BEY (or YTM) unless the problem states otherwise.

While taking the exam, you are allowed to reference any material that I have provided you for this course, including your textbook, class notes, videos, recordings of classes, spreadsheets, and anything on our Canvas site. You may use Excel and any kind of calculator during the exam.

During the exam, you may not reference any materials other then what I mentioned above. You may not visit any websites during the exam. You may not use your cellphone during the exam. You may not discuss this exam with anyone until I have posted an announcement on our class website that everyone has taken the exam and that it is ok to discuss it.

If you run into any problems while taking the exam, you may email me at wreese@ou.edu  However, I can't promise that I will be checking my emails while you are taking the exam.

Good luck!
